GRADUATE SCHEME: Channel 4 TV Graduate Data Scientist Programme

It’s our job to reflect our audience; to make them think and think again. Understanding who they are is key to this. Big Data has opened up intriguing new perspectives which enable us to get close to them as never before. You’ll help us to get even closer. In return, we’ll support you to study for your Masters at UCL on their Big Data Analytics programme.

Our two-year scheme will see you split your time between UCL and Channel 4 during year one. You’ll also immerse yourself in a jointly supervised, year-long project. In year two, you’ll work for us full time alongside our data scientists. Together, you’ll use our Hadoop Stack, Python and R to create machine learning models and cutting-edge data products. These will give us the inside track on everything from how best to connect with our audience to what adverts they’d like to see.

We want to hear from graduates with at least a 2.1 in statistics, mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering or a quantitative discipline.
