CGG/WRIPA Graduate and Internship Webinar - Wednesday 6 February

CGG will be hosting a webinar with the White Rose Industrial Physics Academy to share information about their graduate and internship programmes for Physics students. Unilever Leeds Research & Development Industrial Placement

The Unilever Deodorant Global R&D team, based in Leeds, has a few more student placement positions open for the 2019-2020 year. One key role is based with the R&D Digital team.    The 4 th  industrial revolution is having a profound impact on productivity through data utilisation, predictive technologies and AI approaches.  The R&D team has a number of ongoing predictive / modelling activities and we are looking for students to help support these with data  curation , aggregation and analytics.    Therefore, in addition to the traditional science and chemistry requirements, they are specifically looking for students that are also highly "data savvy".   If you are interested please talk to Mack Durham, Anne Booth or have a look at the information on the Careers Notice Boards in Hicks (Floors E and F).

Scientist Training Programme Open Day : Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust : Wednesday 30 January 2019

NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP) - applications open 9 January 2019!

Applications to the STP are due to open at 1.00pm on Wednesday 9 January 2019. The Scientist Training Programme (STP) is a three year training programme that includes work-based and academic learning. Whilst on the programme you will also complete a part-time master's degree at the university offering your chosen specialism. The aim of the STP is to attract, select and retain the very best people to clinical scientist posts.
