NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP) - applications open 9 January 2019!

Applications to the STP are due to open at 1.00pm on Wednesday 9 January 2019.

 The Scientist Training Programme (STP) is a three year training programme that includes work-based and academic learning. Whilst on the programme you will also complete a part-time master's degree at the university offering your chosen specialism. The aim of the STP is to attract, select and retain the very best people to clinical scientist posts.

International Women's Day 2022 #BreakTheBias

  International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. This year we are called upon to  #BreakTheBias . From the International Women's Day 2022 website:  "Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. At SLE research is conducted into future generations of display technology, an area in which Sharp Corporation is a world market leader. The available 12 month placement is for a physicist to join a small and innovative team, part of a larger, inter-disciplinary displays group.
