TEACHING INTERNSHIPS - Physics and Maths

Schools across England are recruiting undergraduates following Maths or physics related degree programmes to work as interns in schools.

There are opportunities to work with children and young people across the age range and you will receive full training free of charge.

What does it involve?

A four week internship in a local school after your exams in June -You will be paid £300 per week.

We will provide:

Full training, a school based mentor and careers advice.
You don’t have to want to become a teacher, but if you are inspired to join the profession while working in our schools, we provide careers advice, a guaranteed interview for a teacher training programme and advice on applying for scholarships and bursaries up to £30K to sup-port you while you train.
Whatever your career aspirations, we promise that you will develop your communication, planning and organisation skills and gain invaluable experience that will enhance your CV.

Interested?

To take part you will:
• be in your penultimate year of study
• be studying a maths or physics related subject
• have A level maths (and physics if you want to teach physics) or equivalent
• be keen to help young people in school
