Project Management - Employer skills session - Civil Service

Considering a career in Project Management?
Employer skills sessions - Thursday 10 May 12-1.30pm

Project work is everywhere. Whether you want to become an academic, join a small charity, a start-up, a big firm or the public sector you will encounter projects.

This hands-on workshop with two Project Mangers working in government will take you from ‘what is a project?’ to understanding project management techniques like scheduling, stakeholder management and critical path analysis in 1.5 hours. No prior experience needed.

Emily Mills and George Horgan are project managers on the UK Government Project Delivery Fast Stream. They have experience in a range of projects including IT, Finance, Construction, Organisational Transformation and not-for-profit (but are young enough to remember what being a student is like!)
