Facility Scientist/Science Support Technician wanted at STFC's Boulby Underground Laboratory


We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to take the role of Facility Scientist / Science Support Technician to work with existing staff to facilitate and support the exciting growing science programme of the Boulby Underground Laboratory.

We welcome applications from people of a range of levels of experience and training. The post appointment level and role will depend on experience and qualifications. Closing date 2 December 2018.

International Women's Day 2022 #BreakTheBias

  International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. The available 12 month placement is for a physicist to join a small and innovative team, part of a larger, inter-disciplinary displays group. The post may involve fabrication and characterisation of novel devices for use in flat panel displays (LCD and OLED), test and measurement of optical components, optical modelling/simulation and image data processing.
