The Ogden Trust Teach Physics Internship Programme 2019

The Teach Physics 2019 Internship Programme provides 4-5 week placements in school science departments for students to gain an intensive experience of teaching physics as well as developing transferable skills for other careers.

Deadline for applications is Sunday 3 February 2019.

Look for the flyers on the Careers Noticeboards and around the department, read about it on the Ogden Trust Website, or come and talk to Anne in Hicks F10.

A mentor (possibly someone who graduated from your course) can give you practical information, advice and guidance, as well as share the benefits of their experience..You may want to know about the typical activities of a particular role, about job search and strategies that will improve your chances of success in the graduate job market, or steps that will help you make the transition from student to graduate trainee.   How the scheme works We operate two schemes per academic year in Autumn (October– December) and Spring (February-May). Communication is primarily via email and /or Skype. Your mentor may be able to meet with you face- to- face, but this not always practical and it is not a requirement.
