Deciding which kind of job you want can be difficult, so the Careers Service are bringing together professionals from a range of industries in one informal networking event to showcase different career occupations and to highlight the routes that you could take from your degree subject to your new career.

Come along to meet representatives working in the following sectors:

  • Education & Research
  • Digital
  • Science & Health

You can drop into the event at any time, and do not need to stay for the entire duration of the event. If you’re nervous of networking, Careers Service staff will be there to provide support and guidance.

I am happy to share that in collaboration with other societies and working committees, we are hosting a Black Professional Networking Event to facilitate and create a safe space for conversation between black professionals and students and potentially form meaningful relationships. The event will consist of a panel discussion, followed by a Q&A session by the audience. Afterwards, there will be a networking portion for students and professionals to interact. This is a collaboration between West Indian Society, BAME Staff Network, BME Student's Committee, African Caribbean Society and African Affairs Network.
